Empire City Apartment Luxury Thu Thiem

Avoid living here. Saigon has plenty of other luxury apartments with much more to offer.

It's clean, secluded, very green, and high end. We love this condo and had one of our best stays here. Some people find the security strict, but I think it's needed to keep the place neat and intact. I do wish fewer tourists would come and go behaving badly. I sometimes find them annoying, even though I'm a traveler myself.

After spending two weeks touring more than 20 buildings in Districts 1 and 2, I found Empire City gave the best value for its price and quality. The area is still being developed into a new Singapore-esque modern city in a city, but the local dining is superb. Getting anywhere in D1 or D2 costs only $2-$3 USD or 75k VND. Management stands out compared with places I've lived before. They respond quickly to issues and finish maintenance in the same week. There are a remarkable number of staff on site, and they keep the property pristine, from opening doors to maintaining the facilities and landscaping. The gardening team does a phenomenal job with the lush plants day and night. It's 10x quieter than anywhere else in HCMC, in my experience, and easily deserves five stars. It beats most luxury properties in the US. My experience really contradicts the negative reviews. I suspect many come from Grab drivers upset that the 10+ security guards are doing their jobs and stopping them from entering the flower beds or running amok. I've never had an issue with security. I wish I didn't have to walk to the gate to pick up deliveries, but the security team makes me feel very safe. Compared with most security in Vietnam, who just sit there doing nothing, this team is constantly patrolling, keeping the property clean, and making sure it's safe.

The landscape is great, and it's a luxury condo with the best view in Thu Thiem.
