M Village Living 47 Thảo Điền is on a quiet street where I slept well, but local shops, cafés, restaurants, and everything else in Thảo Điền are just steps away. The room was spotless, modern, minimal, and smelled clean throughout. Laundry machines and dryers on site were a big plus, and twice-weekly housekeeping kept things fresh. Check-in and checkout were smooth and stress-free. It's a good fit for short or long stays, and I'll definitely return. I was woken around 2 a.m. by a group of young people outside the entrance, shouting “Hey, hey” over and over, really loudly. It disturbed my sleep and affected my stay. The area was very quiet, but it felt unsafe, especially for women. I hope the hotel adds CCTV at the entrance and has someone monitor things at night.

My boss and I booked two nights, but they wouldn't let us check in because my boss had left the original passport at the company, three hours away. I could show all the original documents to guarantee the booking, but they still wouldn't accept the cancellation or issue a VAT invoice. We lost all the money with no reasonable explanation. I've never dealt with such strange service at a hotel. It was a really bad experience, and I won't stay there again. So crazy.

The room is simple and spacious, with a Western feel, and there's a nice view of greenery and trees from my room. It's in a good spot on a quiet alley, and there's a laundry machine available. But when I asked for kitchen tools, staff said they had none. It makes the kitchen feel like it's just for show. For the price, I expected a complete set of cooking tools, and it feels like guests aren't valued enough. Also, avoid Quoc Huong Street in the rainy season because it floods.
