As someone who’s been traveling around Southeast Asia full time for the past few years, I found this to be a high-quality boutique hotel. It’s quiet, comfortable, and well run, whether you’re here briefly or for a few days. Huong was especially helpful and professional, always taking extra care to make sure my stay went smoothly. The whole team was friendly and attentive. The hotel is brand new, spotless, and has a fresh, modern design. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting an easy, comfortable stay near the airport.
This was meant to be a one-night airport stop, but a booking mistake left me paying for two nights. I reserved the room about 25 minutes before arriving late on Saturday, after a long day of travel where everything had gone wrong. I spotted that I’d selected two nights by mistake, messaged the property within minutes, and got there about 20 minutes later. Staff refused to change the dates, referring to a cancellation policy I hadn’t seen while booking. They weren’t rude, but their responses felt inflexible and indifferent, with no effort to find a solution. Agoda support, the hotel, and the confirmation each gave me a different version of the policy, which left me confused and unsure who to trust. I checked out after about 12 hours and was still charged for both nights. The room and service made the stay worse. It had no window and was gloomy, completely dark in the morning, and the bathroom smelled persistently of drains or sewage. There was also other guests’ hair in the shower. No one was at reception when I arrived or checked out, and I waited about 15 minutes on arrival. A housekeeper was the only person around. Check-in took nearly an hour without explanation, and staff struggled with basic questions, including food options. The area felt deserted after 10 p.m., shut down early, and had no walkable late-night food. It didn’t feel welcoming after dark, and I saw rats and roaches right outside. If you need flexibility, clear communication, or reasonable help when plans go wrong, I wouldn’t recommend this property or chain. There are better options in HCMC.
The rooms are basic but clean, with water, slippers, towels, dental kits, and a bidet. If you need anything beyond that, it’s available in the downstairs lounge. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I enjoyed wandering around the neighborhood to visit nearby food shops and cafés. For the price, it’s about what you’d expect, and I’d stay here again.
I chose M Village for its airport proximity and promise of a quiet stay during a business trip to Saigon. Instead, my experience left me deeply dissatisfied, and I’d advise other customers against staying there. My first booking was for two nights, 11-13 October, at M Village Cuu Long. I arrived at 1 a.m. to find mold on the walls and a strong, unpleasant smell. The room felt uninhabitable and posed a health risk, so I asked to move. The night staff understood and transferred me to the sister property, M Village Nguyen The Loc. That room was cleaner, but it was a downgrade from what I’d paid for. I gave the team a chance to make things right, and they offered an upgrade for a return stay from 26-29 October, which I then booked. I also booked seven nights from 19-26 October because my business plans changed and I needed to stay in Ho Chi Minh City without moving around. When I asked about changing rooms from the 22nd to the 26th, and about the fees for early check-in or late checkout, the front desk quoted an upgrade fee of 300,000 VND per night. I asked if they could consider adjusting it, since I was staying for 10 days in total, but the answer was an immediate no. Then Nhu Y from head office customer service called me. I found her attitude and explanation unacceptable. She said early check-in and late-checkout fees couldn’t be confirmed in advance, only on the day, and refused to let me book ahead. She insisted I had to check in and out strictly on time, regardless of my length of stay. This was deeply disappointing and unprofessional, and made it seem like customer satisfaction wasn’t a priority. Management should review how Nhu Y handled this. It was terrible, and reflected one-star service. Thanks.
The room was in pristine condition and felt new, and the staff were attentive and friendly. It’s a great place to stay when traveling within Vietnam and passing through. After I checked out, they quickly let me know I’d accidentally left some things in the room. Great follow-up.
