Le Meridien Saigon

The design was lovely and the staff were excellent, friendly, and quick to help us resolve our one issue. The first two rooms we tried smelled musty, as if humidity in the carpet had left a damp odor, which is why I gave the rooms three stars. They moved us to better accommodations right away and were glad to assist. I'd stay again, 10/10. Our room attendant, Thuong Phan, also took wonderful care of the room during our five-day stay.

For our special occasion, the staff arranged a beautiful, personal engagement surprise in the suite, making the moment feel magical. The room was modern, clean, and peaceful, with panoramic Saigon River views. The hotel also made arrival easy: staff met us at the jet bridge at Tan Son Nhat Airport (SGN) and got us through immigration in about 10 minutes with the fast-track service. Then the arranged Mercedes Limo was prompt and professional, making the trip through city traffic stress-free. Dining was another highlight. Latest Recipe's breakfast had a wide selection of local and international food, including delicious Vietnamese pho and fresh juices. The Executive Lounge happy hour had tasty food, varied drinks, and consistently prompt service. Across the venues, the food was excellent and service attentive. The concierge and front desk teams were welcoming and professional. Le Méridien Saigon is well placed for District 1 and made for an unforgettable, luxurious stay. Thanks to everyone there, we're 100% coming back.

I've stayed here for about 40 days in total over the past few years, and it's a wonderful hotel by nearly every measure. The breakfast buffet is large and worth the price, the staff are friendly and easy to talk with, and the gym is good. My only gripe is the sauna hours, 6am-8pm. I like to use it before bed, so I can never make it in time. That's absolutely not a deal breaker. I still haven't found a good hotel sauna in Saigon. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.

The room was spectacular, from the views and furnishings to how clean it was. Watching Ba Son Bridge light up from 6 pm and then change colors was magic. Vincent made check-in welcoming and helped us visit the club lounge before the room was ready for clear check-in, a great Marriott loyalty service. The lounge doesn't match Sheraton Grand Opera Saigon, but Le Meridien has the more elegant staff and views. Its selection leans toward desserts and drinks, and seating is more comfortable chairs than dining tables. Staff kept the tables clean, though only the most proactive or certain guests were offered drinks. The location is lovely and quiet, near little Japanese town and the modern, foreigner-friendly HCMC Metro. A wonderful stay, and I look forward to coming back.
