Lotte Hotel Saigon

We stayed four nights, from 3-7 Jan, in a Deluxe Room City View. The room's design felt a little dated, but it was well equipped, with bidet toilets and nice plush beds. I had no real complaints about the room. Service was impressive, and room service and housekeeping were quick. The staff were all amazing and keen to help. That included everyone from the security guard who opened the car door when we returned, to the concierge and housekeepers. Thanks to the Lotte team for making my time in HCMC pleasant and showing us Vietnamese hospitality. I'd definitely stay at Lotte again when I return. It's in District 1 and within walking distance of attractions like Notre Dame and Coffee Apartments, though it's less central than some other hotels. Lotte's shuttle helped with that. It goes to Notre Dame Cathedral, the Opera House, and Ben Thanh Market, but you need to book through the concierge, by phone or at the desk, an hour ahead. Departures from the hotel are at 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm. They call it a shuttle bus, but we were pleasantly surprised to get a Toyota Sienna minivan. There were just two of us, so that may be why. I didn't get the driver's name, but he was very polite and drove calmly and steadily through HCMC's wild traffic. I didn't use the pool, though it looked fairly large and decent for swimming. The fitness centre was well equipped, with showers and a sauna room.

The location made it easy to explore the city, with key attractions, restaurants, and shopping nearby. My room was clean, well kept, and comfortable. What made the stay special was the warm hospitality. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and were ready to help, handling every request promptly and professionally. They went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly, and I felt valued, almost like I was at home. I'd happily recommend Lotto Hotel Saigon and plan to stay again on my next Ho Chi Minh City trip.

Veronica, Mia, and Tien at reception deserve special mention. They were kind, professional, and consistently attentive, from check-in through my questions during the stay. Their efficient, proactive approach really showed the hotel's service standards. The room had a lovely open view, which made the stay feel comfortable and relaxing. It was also in excellent condition, as was the hotel's general upkeep. The facilities, views, and service were all high quality. I'd gladly recommend the hotel and look forward to returning.

We had beautiful river views, and the breakfast buffet was probably the best of all the hotels we stayed at in Vietnam. The interiors, rooms, and facilities were very nice, and the staff gave excellent service. Our request for a quiet room was acknowledged, but we were put under a busy lounge. Around 6am, noise from furniture being moved woke us up, and the ceiling didn't block the sound well. They moved us to a better room, but we'd already had a bad night's sleep and our energy was affected. Live music by the river was also quite loud in our river view room, though luckily it seemed to end by midnight. The sauna is tiny, with room for only one or two people at most.
