M Village Hotel Nguyen Kiem

Even though we arrived late in the evening, a staff member messaged me on WhatsApp and asked me to call when we got there so they could help bring our luggage inside. The service was very good, and the room was clean. The hotel is conveniently close to the airport, about a 10-minute drive from Tan son nhat. There’s a Co-op Mart right beside it, a large supermarket with fresh produce and everyday essentials, and plenty of places to eat nearby. I’ll definitely stay at M village hotels again when I return to Saigon.

Laundry access is one of the conveniences that makes M Village appealing, and I really enjoyed the exercise equipment too. But the hotel laundry machines are meant for guests, and staff were monopolizing them, making it hard to wash clothes during the day. I saw several guests give up and go down the street to find a laundry. Maybe more machines for staff and hotel washing, or a night shift for staff, would leave the facilities available to paying guests in the daytime. Apart from that, it was a good stay at the standard we expect from M Village. Our room on the seventh floor had a balcony. The busy traffic outside wasn’t intrusive indoors. It’s well located for local food, supermarkets, and the airport, with good facilities and a staffed reception after hours.

The main inconvenience was getting picked up by rideshare: the property is on the left side of a one-way street, while drivers are only allowed to stop on the right, so you may need to cross over. Otherwise, this is a great choice if you want to be near the airport or away from the busiest areas. The rooms are modern, very clean, and well equipped. Complimentary laundry was helpful, the staff were friendly, and check-in was standard.

There’s a nicely designed co-working space in the main lobby, which made it a comfortable and productive spot to work outside my bedroom. Reception was handled by a young, energetic team who gave great service. I’ll return, and I’m actually working toward Diamond membership.🤭
