I kept putting off writing this because people say it isn’t worth it, but I’ll never use this company again. The sales team told me one thing, then changed its story the next day. Someone was allowed to smoke in the room next door, and the smoke came into mine, but staff told me there was nobody next door. The team’s attitude was the worst. Liars and terrible service.

The streets are quiet and the staff on site are very friendly, but there are serious problems with the rooms and the company. The hot plate feels unsafe, the shower and toilet aren’t separated so everything gets wet, and the kitchen counter is uncomfortably low. A lot of the furnishings are old and should have been replaced. The building is maintained, but mold keeps coming back, which raises health concerns. Sound insulation is basically nonexistent: you can hear every word of a phone call through the wall. Staff don’t step in when guests make noise, even when it disrupts the whole building. The sales team handling bookings and payments, separate from the on-site staff, is completely hopeless, and senior management seems driven only by greed. When problems come up, their approach seems focused on extracting every dollar at the expense of basic customer care. They seem interested in one-time sales rather than earning repeat business or building a reputation.

The bathroom floor was dangerously slippery when wet. My partner and I both tripped and nearly hit our heads. When we reported it, staff immediately offered another room, which was confusing because they’d initially said there were no other rooms available when I asked to move from the fifth floor. We’d been put up there despite the building having no lift and our having a lot of luggage. At least the room itself was nice and clean. There was only one staff member for the whole building, so getting help could be difficult. I also called recently to ask for a price quote and no one got back to me. I love the chain and its service, but these last two experiences were a big disappointment. I’d still recommend the place, just don’t expect anything more from them.

We’re from Australia, and this was our first stay here with family. My best friends had recommended the hotel chain. Our flight was delayed, so although we were meant to arrive at midnight, we didn’t get in until 2 a.m. Thanks to Duy for waiting up, checking us in, and explaining everything carefully. Other staff replied to my messages when I needed them. Sometimes replies took a while during the day, but that was fine with me. The rooms were clean, modern, and minimalist, though honestly it felt more like a homestay. The location is tucked into a residential area, away from busy streets. My partner likes walking to shops and places to see, and we found a tasty bun cha spot and a café about 7-9 minutes away. We might try one of the other locations next time to compare.
