RedDoorz Plus near SECC 2

The listing says District 1, but the hotel is actually in District 7. My room was dirty, the bed smelled bad, and the bathroom was unhygienic. The owner asked me to hold back a negative review in exchange for a refund, but I never received the refund. Unprofessional and dishonest, I can’t recommend this place.

I stayed for five days and came away feeling depressed. This was the worst hotel I’d seen in a long time. Don’t come here. Spend a couple more bucks on a decent hotel, believe me.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and even offered me an extra hour for late checkout. The room had a nice view and a decent layout, but several things brought down my rating. Getting there from the airport took about an hour with traffic. The lobby felt unwelcoming, with dusty, stained floors. My room had mosquitoes and an old, unpleasant smell, and the door was difficult to shut. The sink and toilet bowl were chipped. There was a TV, but it was still covered in plastic and wasn’t plugged in. There’s plenty that needs improving.

We checked in late at night, but there was no water in the room. The place was dirty throughout: the rooms, lobby, elevator, and stairs. There was no air conditioning in the lobby or elevator. We asked for toilet paper twice before they gave us any. After an hour we had to check out and asked for our money back. Even though we’d been without water, they refunded only half the room rate. The service was awful and the staff had a terrible attitude. They said they didn’t care about reviews. A filthy place, stay away.
