Sa La TP

We packed our bags and left in the middle of the night because we were frightened and couldn’t take the noise anymore. We got no apology or refund from the property. Trip.com customer service was helpful, but the owner took no responsibility. Please don’t book here. It’s misleading, feels unsafe, and seems like a complete scam. At 2 a.m., the building fire alarm started going off, with no staff, help, or explanation. We had no idea whether there was a real fire or another serious emergency. We were lucky that workers had forgotten to lock the lower floor doors, which are usually locked. Around 3 a.m., my partner found the control panel and stopped the alarm himself, but it kept sounding every 20 minutes. We contacted the owner, who woke up, heard what was happening, including that we didn’t know if it was safe to turn the alarm off, and then went back to sleep without sending help. Completely irresponsible. The apartment itself didn’t feel private or safe. It’s in what seems to be a professional or corporate building, on the 4th floor, where the lift opens straight into the unit. There are holes where people can see inside, and people on the staircase can look right into the living space. There’s no sound insulation either. Construction on the floor below began at 8 a.m., so it was impossible to rest. When we arrived, there was no Wi-Fi, the air conditioning barely worked, and the open shower was a mess. After just a few minutes, the bathroom would start flooding. Then we had to wait at least an hour for the water to drain, or risk flooding the apartment. This isn’t even a real apartment.

They kindly looked after my luggage.

The building was in terrible shape and nothing worked. The apartment didn’t look like the photos. The fire alarm went off every night, and the host did nothing to fix it and was extremely rude. We contacted the police.

A spacious apartment in a great neighborhood, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The large balcony or terrace is a nice spot to relax.
