I stayed in a mixed six-bed dorm with a towel and a toilet inside. There’s also a common area where you can hang out, and the price is affordable. The hostel is tucked into a small complex in District 1, which keeps the street noise down. Recommended, though adding curtains would give guests more privacy.

A quiet courtyard-style alley puts this place within walking distance of the popular tourist spots, and it’s close to the airport too. I consider it my home in Saigon. The dorms are comfortable and not crowded, and the private rooms are lovely. Staff are very helpful, speak English, and are willing to help with nearly everything.

Staff were friendly, and I hope she delivers well. We stayed in the four-bed mixed dorm at La Hostel Saigon. It was spacious, with a comfy supersingle bed, air conditioning, and a toilet shared by just the four people in the room. The nightly rate is budget-friendly, especially for young people who don’t mind walking. Convenience stores, Texas Chicken, and pizza are all within walking distance, and Ben Thanh Market is less than a 15-minute walk away. Love from Malaysia.

For 200php per head per day, this was cheap, and the bunk beds were thick. The place was clean, they cleaned the room daily, and the staff were really nice. Receptionists speak English, which is a must here in Vietnam. Each guest gets a towel, and toiletries are provided except for soap. The bidet worked, and there was a choice of hot or cold shower. Wi-Fi was fast and free. The location is good, about a 10-minute walk to ben than market and 5 minutes to Buy Vien. They accepted our late check-in when we arrived at 1am, and laundry service is available. There are lockers for valuables, but bring your own lock. If you plan to get wasted, I suggest leaving your passport in the locker. Reception is open 24 hours, and the place feels secure. At check-in they give you two keys, one for your room door and one for the main gate, which they lock at night.
