Sens House Saigon – Serviced Apartments in Vinhomes Central Park

We arrived to an apartment that had seemed great when we booked it for New Year’s, but on New Year’s Eve we were told we had to move because of supposed “water works.” The replacement was in another building, much worse, tired and dirty, and not what we had paid for. Moving also cost us one of our sightseeing days. We later learned the water works story was false and other people had been put in the apartment we booked. We also couldn’t use the pool or gym, one of the main reasons we chose the place. The owner should have applied for access seven days in advance and hadn’t. The service was appalling, nothing like what we booked, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It was all lies and a scam.

A spacious three-bedroom apartment on the 28th floor, with a view of the Saigon River, is priced at 8 billion VND. The building has 46 floors and belongs to Vinhomes, one of Ho Chi Minh City's most luxurious apartment complexes. It has high-end interiors from the entrance through the apartment, and is surrounded by conveniences including shops, supermarkets, pools, gyms, a school, and a hospital.

We paid a top price for four nights over New Year, but on New Year’s Eve they moved us, saying the water would be switched off. We later found out that guests were moved straight into our original apartment. Our replacement was much lower standard, with no view, and we couldn’t use the pool or gym that we’d paid extra for. The apartment was old, tired, and dirty when we arrived, as the photos show. We’re a family and wanted somewhere really nice to spend New Year’s, and this completely ruined it. Since you pay cash on arrival, we had no recourse. Bookings.com is letting these people scam everyone. DO NOT BOOK if you’re a tourist!

If zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d give. We have a small baby and had forgotten our key, but the receptionist at the front wouldn’t let us in. She said her shift was ending and refused to help. Her name was Hoa Huyen Thi, and the security guard in Park 7 B was Nguyen Manh Toan. They were both rude and disrespectful.
