Soho Residence Studio Apartment

We booked through airbnb for four people in a two bedroom place and enjoyed the stay, spending time on both the 18th and 33rd floors. It was fairly clean, and the elevators had air conditioning. Bui vien street is an easy walk away, with a 7eleven just around the corner and cafes right outside. Despite being close to everything, the area felt safe and the nights were quiet. There was usually someone at reception if we needed anything.

The apartment had nice city views from both the living room and bedroom, and we could walk to bui vien and ben thanh market in about 15 minutes. Checkout was smooth. We booked through Agoda, worried after reading Google Maps reviews, but a 9trip stay representative met us at reception and showed us to the two-bedroom apartment on the 32nd floor. It was nice overall, though the flooring had separated and left gaps between boards, and the bathroom was small. Each room had AC, there were two TVs, and a washing machine on the balcony. There was a kitchen too, though we didn't use it. Don't waste money on the claw machine, they're fixed and you won't win anything.

The apartment was clean, the bed comfortable, and the location decent. The bathroom was basic and a bit dated, but everything worked. Our hosts at Smile Home communicated clearly and promptly, met us at reception, and checked us in themselves. From what I read in other reviews, the experience may depend on who you book with. We were happy with it for our one night, as long as you're not expecting five-star luxury.

Don't book with them. I paid using my credit card points, but when I arrived there was no receptionist to help. Eventually I reached my host, who said there were no rooms left and they had to book me into a different hotel. They seem to overbook and cancel, so be careful.
