The noise from planes was the main problem, not the construction. HCM City’s airport runs 24/7, and the jet engines seemed to roar overhead every five minutes. The windows barely kept the sound out, so I hardly slept. The receptionist did apologize about the ongoing construction, and staff were friendly, but that didn’t address the noise. I also noticed that most of the other reviews sounded very similar and came from people with just one review. I don’t usually post bad reviews, but I’d avoid this hotel.
