This family-owned place was cheap and worked well for budget and midrange travelers. The front desk was always accommodating, and laundry is available. Bring earplugs: the roosters and other noise nearby can turn you into an early riser, even if you’re used to city sounds. Earplugs or 10 beers are about the only defenses. There are showers only, and the mattress is on the harder side, though not unbearable. For the price, it was an excellent stay.

The location felt safe, with tasty and affordable Vietnamese food places nearby. Travel agencies are within walking distance too, which saves on transportation. The amenities are okay, and the receptionist was kind and helpful. I’d book this hotel again if I return to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

The staff were very friendly and the location is good, but the air conditioning is pretty bad. There are several chickens and roosters at a nearby shop, and they wake you up at 4am every day.
