Soul Station Studio Hotel I

We liked Soul Station Studio Hotel so much that we came back for another night on the same trip. It’s super close to the airport, and the hospitality was amazing. The terrace kitchen had cozy seating, and the mini sauna in the top floor suite was the best. 5/5, highly recommend!

The staff were incredibly friendly. They showed us nearly all the rooms, explained the homestay’s equipment and services, and helped us move in. After seeing the place, I felt comfortable booking without thinking twice. The rooms were well equipped, each had a kitchen, and there was a garden full of little trees and flowers outside the balcony. The deluxe room even had a sauna, with a great view. We were in Vietnam for a short business trip and wanted to be careful about choosing a place, since we’d heard about cheap hotels in Vietnam. We spent about 1 hour in a coffee shop checking social media, booking sites, reviews, rooms, services, and staff, but couldn’t find a good hotel. So we went for a walk. I spotted this homestay, stopped, checked its reviews online, and it seemed good. I contacted the staff and asked if we could see the rooms before deciding to check in. I think the price was the most reasonable in the area. It cost only $15 per night, and everything was better than I expected. I bet it would be hard to find anything cheaper in HCMC, Vietnam. This homestay will probably be at the top of my list when I return to HCMC for work or a holiday. I’ll miss the place and all the lovely things they served.

The location was okay, but the washroom was shared between two rooms, which I wasn’t comfortable with. I’d booked for a week, but left after just one night. They also asked for a 10% surcharge for paying by card, which I didn’t accept, and charged double rent for that night.

For this price, the hotel is amazing. The building, rooms, and everything else are just as described.
