I booked this thinking it was a regular hotel with normal rooms. Five minutes later, I got an email saying it was a “night booking,” which meant check-in was only allowed from 10pm without an extra charge. Checking in at 6pm would cost 250k more, a 60% increase in the room price. I tried to cancel when I found out and spent three hours trying to get a refund from Agoda, but got nowhere. In the end I went there late because I didn’t want to pay extra. It turns out this is a love and prostitution hotel that rents rooms by the hour, right in the middle of a red light district. The room was dirty and moldy, had no windows or fresh air, and looked nothing like the pictures. Don’t stay here if you need a normal hotel room.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times. The rooms are clean and the staff are very, very friendly.

The reception staff were excellent, enthusiastic and attentive. The two women at the breakfast buffet downstairs, though, were unpleasant. They seemed contemptuous toward younger guests and got annoyed and gave me a hard time when I ordered pho, while acting overly obsequious toward older guests. I’d like the hotel management to address their behavior. I stayed for two nights, from January 15th to January 17th. Thank you.

The location felt far from the markets and landmarks, in a slum area of the city. The rooms were old and dirty, the accommodation was hard to contact, and the reception staff were very rude. It was a terrible experience, so we changed accommodation. I don’t recommend it.
