They were nice and very helpful, even letting us check in early. The room was clean and the shower was okay, though a bit slow. For a night, it was okay overall. The area wasn’t great, though there are coffee shops and cheap places to eat around. There’s a beach down the road, but it’s not one you can swim at. It’s only a good choice if you want to be somewhat near Dragon bridge, and you’ll still need a taxi to get there. Bring cash, since there are no nearby ATMs and the hotel doesn’t take Visa. I wouldn’t recommend staying in the city. It’s a waste of time and money when you could go to Zhou Anh and stay somewhere cheaper near the beach.

For a good-priced stay in HCM, Swan Hotel is a great choice. The service was great, and the staff were kind and attentive to what I needed. I highly recommend it.

We booked in a hurry and only then realized the hotel was in district 2, about a 45-minute drive from Pham Ngu Lao, where all the action is. It was a long way from the central district.

The rooms aren't soundproof, so you can hear everything. The hotel itself is small and not as nice as it looked in the listing. Really bad, wouldn't recommend it.
