The Noble Swan Saigon

We paid $132 for four nights and five days, but left after the first night. The location is the only good thing I can say about this unhygienic, disgusting place. We checked in around 8 PM and went to explore Ben Thanh Market. The hotel advertises “noise-canceling” rooms, but we could hear neighbors showering, coughing, and moving around. We barely slept. The rooms are extremely small and looked nothing like the online photos. The wallpaper was torn and peeling, the bed sheets were stained and itchy, and there was a USED nose strip on my pillow. There was hair on the pillows and stuck to the shower head, and visible mold in the air vents. The towels were ripped and unusable, and toilet paper had been tossed aside instead of mounted. Everything felt dirty and neglected. We only stayed because it was late and we had no immediate alternative. I contacted Expedia several times and spoke with seven different agents. The hotel said it couldn’t process a refund without direct communication from Expedia, while Expedia confirmed it had emailed and tried to reach the hotel several times. I showed the hotel staff proof, but they kept denying contact and refused to approve the refund. The back-and-forth was exhausting and felt dishonest. I still haven’t received a refund for the unused nights, and it genuinely feels like a scam. Save your money and stress. We booked another hotel just 10 minutes away through Agoda, with better reviews, and had an experience 10,000 times better. This was one of the worst and most stressful hotel stays I’ve had. Proceed at your own risk.

My family booked two rooms here for New Year’s Eve and we were satisfied. We slept well, with good beds and quiet rooms. The location is great, with convenience stores nearby, the price is competitive, and cleanliness was okay too.

We got good value for our money. It was easy to find halal food and shop at the street market. Even with traffic outside, the rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet, so you can get a good night’s sleep.

Wouldn’t recommend it. The rooms were cramped and stuffy, and we had to wait 4-5 hours because they said the rooms weren’t cleaned and there was nobody available to clean them. We’d already had a tiring 12-hour overnight journey, but they still wouldn’t give us a room. The front desk manager then charged us an extra 250.000 for checking in one hour early. There are hidden charges.
