Tuong Vi Corner Hotel

The room had a strange smell when I came back from outside, and the bathroom door lock was broken. I chose a room without a window because the traffic noise in the city is crazy, so that part worked well. But be careful about the deposit: at check-in, the lady asked for 1000,000 VND and said it would be returned after checkout. I had no cash on my first day in HCMC, so I paid by VISA. More than two weeks after checking out, the refund still hadn't appeared on my card. As a tourist who has already left Vietnam, I have no way to get my money back. This is unacceptable. DO NOT PAY ANY DEPOSIT AS YOU WILL NOT HAVE YOUR MONEY BACK!!

I stayed for 9 days while taking a coffee course in HCMC, and the hotel is directly opposite the school, which saved me a lot of travel time. I picked a room without a window because I prefer the quieter feel. The room was bright and clean, with plenty of space, especially in the bathroom. It's a 3-star hotel, but it had everything I needed for a comfortable day-to-day stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and made me feel welcome. Honestly, the service felt better than at some 5-star hotels I've stayed in. I'll choose it again next time I come for a course.

The view of the city from the top floor is a lovely bonus, and the hotel is in a beautiful area. There are plenty of room options, all elegantly designed and well equipped, with a comfortable feel. From the security guards to reception, the staff were warm, enthusiastic, and professional, always ready to answer questions and make things convenient for guests. I was very satisfied with the overall experience and will recommend it to friends and family. This will be my go-to place for future visits.

The location near Van Hanh mall, coffee shops, and eateries was convenient, and the AC worked well. But the stay was pretty unpleasant. Our VIP room faced the street, with honking and kids screaming from the nearby school from around 6 am. Staff started cleaning early, so it was hard to rest past 8 am. I also got random calls and knocks at my room, and despite requesting a non-smoking room, I smelled smoke sometimes. The bathroom's see-through glass and curtains made privacy inconvenient. The automatic toilet was annoying when I wanted to flush manually, and there was no hand soap or lotion. When I complained about the noise, staff weren't helpful. They also sometimes didn't even change the toilet paper when cleaning.
