Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection

We were on the 60th floor for four nights at Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection, and it was an unforgettable stay. The room was spacious, spotless, and well maintained. Service was the best we’ve ever experienced, with every staff member polite, professional, and genuinely helpful. Each night, they brought a thoughtful treat to our room before bed, a small touch that made us feel valued. The skyline view was breathtaking. We even left the curtains open while we slept so we could wake up to it. The area around the hotel is beautiful, modern, and well cared for. Food choices were a little limited for guests who avoid beef or pork for religious reasons. The staff handled that kindly, though, offering to prepare something suitable each morning at breakfast and in the club lounge. We really appreciated it. We had an amazing time and would happily return. Highly recommended.

The evening cocktail in the lounge was superb, we loved it. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, especially the check-in team, the valets downstairs, and the barman at the executive lounge, whose name I sadly can’t remember. We’re very grateful to him. The hotel feels cozy and quieter than downtown, and the views are amazing, especially at night. Rooms are comfortable and modern, and the place has a luxurious feel. The building is definitely a landmark in Saigon, although the hotel doesn’t take up the whole building. There’s a shopping mall in the same building, which is handy without feeling crowded. The observation deck is great too, though you have to buy a ticket.

The club lounge was a nice place to relax or get work done, especially at sunset with the city lights coming on. Breakfast and lounge food were delicious, with plenty of choices including local Vietnamese dishes. The rooms were comfortable and modern, and the facilities felt complete, with an outdoor pool up high plus a sauna and spa. Since this is the tallest building in Saigon, you can look out over the whole city and even see the airport. There’s a small mall downstairs, and an observation attraction above that’s separate from the hotel. Thanks for the service and hospitality. It was a unique, premium stay.

The room was extremely small for five nights, and that made the stay much less comfortable. Before I arrived, Ms. Nhi Lam said she’d keep an eye out for a complimentary upgrade, but I heard nothing more during the stay. There was no follow-up or proactive communication, and it didn’t feel sincere, especially in a low travel season. I’m a Marriott Gold member and expected a little more recognition. At comparable places like Phuket Marriott, St. Regis Singapore, JW Marriott Saigon, Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka, and Ritz-Carlton Bali, the elite benefits and treatment were noticeably better. Here, there wasn’t anything particularly thoughtful or special for Gold members. The view and general service were good, and staff were polite and professional, but the room size and elite member experience fell short of what I expected at a hotel of this level.
