I stayed three nights and found the room spacious and clean, which made it easy to relax. The owner, the manager's daughter, and their family were all warm and welcoming. On arrival, the owner suggested an e-bike, and I used it each day to visit the sights. It was cheaper and healthier than taking taxis, and I really enjoyed exploring Ninh Binh. I'm grateful and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rooms were clean and really spacious, and breakfast was fantastic. The owner and family were so hospitable. Our bus to Da Nang was leaving from a different spot, and they personally drove us to the bus point. You can rent bicycles or mopeds there too. I’d definitely recommend staying.

Elizabeth Hotel is on a quiet street, and the rooms are comfortable. The pool area looked lovely, though January was too cold for a swim. The hotel is clean and well looked after. Breakfast had the usual Vietnam hotel choices, including noodles or rice, pastries, baguette, and fresh fruit. The owner was especially welcoming, helped us plan a great outing around Ninh Binh, and suggested some good dinner spots. He even brought us tea in the evening.

The roof terrace isn't open for guests, which is a shame because the views up there are amazing. Some top-floor rooms also look out in two directions. The manager was fantastic, really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is a self-serve buffet with eggs, noodles, pizza, and sweet breads. They rent scooters and mopeds for 100k a day. Don't pay 200k for a full tank unless you expect to use it all. Fuel is 20k per litre, and a litre goes a long way, for example, to Bai Dinh/Hoa Lu and back, plus Trang An and back. It was too cold for the pool, but it looked ready to use.

I rented a motorbike there, and the hotel pool was clean and just perfect. The owner was one of the nicest people I met on my trip, always smiling.
