Lalita Boutique Hotel & Spa Ninh Binh

We loved relaxing by the split-level infinity pools, lounging in the water and soaking up the sun. The location was peaceful and quiet, about 1.2 km from the busy downtown and boat dock, but close enough to reach quickly. The city side is about 15 minutes away by motorbike or car. Our family came to explore the Tam Coc area of Ninh Binh, and the hotel experience at Lalita Boutique Hotel & Spa was just as amazing. At reception, Mr. Thor greeted us warmly. He was professional, organized, knowledgeable, well spoken, and simply a good guy. His colleagues were kind and professional too. Mr. Thor, Mrs. Sen, Mrs. Linh, the housekeeping team, and everyone we met were friendly and accommodating. You could tell from their smiles and attitude that they wanted us to have a great stay. The junior suite exceeded our expectations. We loved how spacious it was and enjoyed the sunken bath. On nights three and four, we were upgraded to a full suite, which went way beyond what we expected. The pedestal bath overlooking the Rice Fields was such a relaxing, luxurious experience. I want one at home! Both suites were beautifully furnished, with comfortable beds, luxurious cotton linens, good design, and great AC. Breakfast had plenty of appetizing Vietnamese and Western choices. We also ate at the restaurant on our first night and enjoyed the food and ambiance. Thank you, Thor, Sen, Linh, and the entire Lolita housekeeping team. You made our family vacation even better. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to Tam Coc travelers.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. It feels much more expensive than it’s worth. Our room was huge, but the furniture looked old and it didn’t feel very clean. There was a bad smell, like mold or something very old, and the lobby and elevator didn’t smell good either. The linens also felt almost wet, as if they hadn’t dried properly before being put on the bed. The shower had good hot water and pressure, but getting into the bathtub was slippery and unsafe. We almost fell each time, so I wouldn’t recommend it for children or older people. I don’t know if that’s just how this particular room is. Reception staff were nice, and breakfast was okay. It’s a nice, quiet location if you rent a scooter, though, since it’s five minutes from Tam Coc’s main street. We used Grab too, usually about 33K per ride.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great, with fresh cooked food. The room was large and quiet, and the hotel was easy to reach from other attractions. Very nice and good value.

It’s a peaceful, quiet hotel about a mile from town, close enough for an easy walk, and a Grab is easy to catch if you want one. Breakfast choices were somewhat limited, but everything we tried was excellent. I highly recommend the hotel.
