Momali Hotel Ninh Binh

The receptionist asked about our vegetarian preferences and made sure we had a good stay and breakfast. She also helped arrange local transfers when we needed support. The hospitality was great, and the vegetarian buffet breakfast was the best we found in Vietnam. The hotel is close to the bus stop and railway station, with major sights nearby and cabs easy to find. Our room was quite spacious, and my baby had fun playing in the bathtub.

Basic and simple, with cleanliness and service that were okay. It worked well as a place to sleep for the night.

We found Momali Hotel to be good value during our short trip to Ninh Binh. It’s modern, thoughtfully decorated, and only a short drive from the river and nearby attractions. Our room was bright and clean, with nice design details, elegant furniture, backlit ceilings, and a roomy modern bathroom. The breakfast, though, was minimal. Noise was the bigger issue. We were near the lift, and other guests started making noise around 5:30-6:00 AM. Staff said it was a one-off, but it happened again, with kids running along the halls late at night and early in the morning. We know the hotel can’t control everything, but we wish we’d insisted on changing rooms. One evening we came back to find housekeeping had left the air conditioning set to 28°C, which made the room uncomfortable. Reception didn’t address it while we were staying there. They did follow up and apologize afterward, which we appreciated. With a few service improvements, the hotel has plenty of potential.

The staff at Momali were very friendly and helpful, especially Huyen, who was lovely. They also let us check in early. We enjoyed our stay overall. We did find a few small bugs in the bed. They didn’t seem like bed bugs, and when we reported them, staff promptly moved us to another room without any fuss. We appreciated that.
