Tam Coc LiLy Homestay

We booked one night here after a terrible experience at another place in Ninh Binh. Lily let us check in early and gave us excellent service throughout. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfy bed, TV, and good shower, and the price was excellent. Breakfast was great too. It’s a short walk from Tam Coc centre, and you can rent a bike or scooter from Lily. Her dog is adorable. We felt this place deserved a genuine review, even though nobody asked us to leave one. Candy, the homestay’s dog, was the star of my stay, greeting me every morning and evening. The whole place felt warm and family-like, with peaceful countryside views and hosts who were kind, attentive, and ready with help, local tips, and tour or transport arrangements. My room was spotless and comfortable, and less than a 5 minute cycle from the main town. Breakfast each day came in generous portions, with fresh fruit and tasty local dishes. Tam Coc Lily Homestay was one of the highlights of my trip. I’d absolutely stay again.

The host was so kind and attentive, letting us check in very early and helping arrange transport out of the city back to Ha Noi. She also had great suggestions for local food and tourist attactions. My fiancee and I stayed for 2 days, with breakfast included. Laundry was a bargain at 40,000 VND/kg, and our clothes came back clean, fresh-smelling, and very dry. You can also arrange an optional massage in your room with a visiting masseuse. They have a friendly dog named Kenny, too. This was one of our favourite stays in Vietnam, and we’d look for a room here again when we return to Ninh Binh.

Lily was so gracious and kind, and even invited all the guests to the Lunar New Year celebration. It felt like the most authentic experience we’ve had. The rooms are fantastic, and the place is very close to the city centre, which is a bonus. Everything was just perfect. One of the best experiences ever, and highly recommended.
