Trang An Spring Garden Homestay

We got here this afternoon and it’s such a beautiful place. The manager is friendly, helpful, and speaks good English. He even gave my husband medicine for a stomach problem. We had an excellent meal here tonight. The road in was a little rough, but a regular car can drive it just fine. We’re planning to rent a scooter at the homestay tomorrow and explore.

The peaceful garden, clean rooms, and warmth of the hosts made this one of my most memorable stays in Ninh Binh. Nia and his family welcomed me as if I were part of their home, and their hospitality was top-notch. They made sure I had what I needed throughout my stay. I loved the authentic Vietnamese food. Every meal felt homemade with care. It was also easy to sort things out at short notice, whether I needed a scooter or wanted to book a local excursion. Nia handled it quickly and at a very fair price. Highly recommend for comfort, good food, and a genuinely local stay.

A great bed, a very nice room, and amazing people working there. They were so helpful. I’d definitely recommend the place.

Nie, the owner, was kind and keen to help with anything, but the room didn’t feel clean and the beds weren’t very comfortable. We were offered dinner when we arrived late, though we didn’t think much of the food. The pancakes at breakfast were OK, and we could use the shared showers on checkout day, but they weren’t well maintained. Our stay was a mixed experience, much like the reviews.
