The lively street market just outside made the location a great part of our stay, with plenty to explore at any hour. The family who run the place were welcoming from day one, and their kids were a lot of fun. Their sweet little chihuahua, Dobby, won Deana over so much she seriously thought about sneaking her out in a backpack. This homestay felt more like a private resort than a guesthouse. You can see how much care and ongoing investment the owner and his wife put into it. Our private room was spotless and comfortable, with a gorgeous bathroom and endless hot water. The pool was fantastic too. We spent quite a few hours there doing nothing, which is about as good a compliment as we can give. On our 12-week trip, Victory Homestay in Ninh Binh and Ami Hoi An Home in Hoi An are our two favorites. That says a lot. If you're going to Ninh Binh, this is the place we'd choose.

The local market is just up the street, and there are several good restaurants nearby. Insider tip, try the Che at the market, it's very good. Breakfast here was good too, and the staff can arrange transport, tours, or bike rentals for guests. My wife Tram and I stayed at Victory Homestay last month, and it was a comfortable delight. Dung was terrific, hospitable, and helpful. The rooms were large, clean, comfortable, and well appointed, and everyone at the property was wonderful. I heartily recommend it and look forward to coming back.

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The team was warm and generous, and being invited to a delicious dinner around the brazier made for a special, memorable evening. Our room was beautiful and very spacious. After exploring Ninh Binh and Tam Coc, the large bathtub was perfect for relaxing. The hotel is lovely and charming, and you can feel the family business in the way they look after guests and in the quality of the conversations. We fell in love with Victory Homestay and Dobby, its very affectionate mascot. We highly recommend it and will definitely return if we come back to Ninh Binh.

I spent five nights here, and the Victory Homestay family looked after everything with great courtesy. I rented a scooter for the whole stay at a reasonable price, and the laundry service was great. They also arranged a very good bus to Hanoi that picked me up right at the hotel. I highly recommend booking here.

We loved our stay here. The pool was really nice, and you could order good food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The rooms were very clean, and the homestay is close to the city's main area. The owners were so nice and helpful, and really made sure we had a perfect stay. I'd definitely recommend it.
