We’d seen some negative comments on Ggl map before our trip, but we came anyway and ended up loving the place. Service was much more professional than I expected. We booked a studio on the second floor through Agoda for two nights. Our original room had already been booked, so the helpful, enthusiastic owner moved us to a smaller studio and gave us a free Onsen gift. Most rooms are privately owned, but the service was still perfect. The rooms share the same design, have all the equipment, and come with lovely flower-filled balconies. Some include free Netflix. The town has a full range of facilities and services at fairly reasonable prices for adults and kids. Food at the restaurant was fine, though nothing special. The food here is fresh but not remarkable. You can take an electric car to Hon market (chợ Hón) for seafood and all kinds of fish at extremely cheap prices. One downside is that most of the villas are still unsold and empty, even though they look beautiful with their flowers.

I liked the breakfast buffet, with its tasty food and lots of choices. Lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant didn’t suit me. My room was clean and neat, and it was nice to have housekeeping each day, though I found the hallways and paths confusing to navigate.

There was no wifi. They should have told guests beforehand, or stopped listing the service and taking bookings while it was unavailable.

A nice place to get some rest after a rough run of days at work. It’s only about 90% complete, though, so there’s still concrete and building materials visible around the property.
