Banana Garden Villa

We got to the old town in five minutes using the hotel’s bikes, and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. It was a very pleasant stay and great value for money. We’d definitely book here again.

We spent five relaxing nights at this gorgeous hotel, with big rooms, sparkling pools and lovely staff. The laundry service was great, and there’s a nice spa, Lin Lin, and yoga studio, Asoka, just around the corner. They gave us good recommendations for tours and tailors. Get the banana pancake for breakfast! The old town is a perfect distance away, so we got our steps in while exploring the river, little shops and coffee spots nearby.

The complimentary bikes were a hit with the family for exploring, and the baskets were handy for market and shop finds. It’s a small place with two pools and a real family feel, with home comforts. If there weren’t many guests, there was no buffet, but staff asked the night before what we wanted for breakfast. There were lots of options, and we could choose several things made fresh to order. On our last morning, before the kitchen opened, they asked what we wanted to take for the journey: pancakes, fresh fruit and water. I was impressed! This was our second stay with Family. The staff remembered us from the year before, which made us and the kids feel special. We recommended Banana Garden to friends, and they felt the same way. For a three-star place, it’s very clean, rooms are serviced daily, and staff are always working to keep the facilities looking good. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

The staff’s welcome, kindness and patience are what stand out most. We’ve stayed at Banana Garden Villa four times over eight years, and every visit has impressed us. It’s spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, with comfortable rooms and a breakfast buffet that has something for everyone. The location is ideal for a short walk or bike ride to the old town, rice fields or beach. The bikes are free and reliable. We honestly can’t think of anything we’d change, and we look forward to visiting again. Everyone at Banana Garden should be proud of their work!
