The staff were nice and breakfast was pleasant, though the juice was too watery. The pool was a welcome plus in the heat. Hue itself is lovely, and I suspect there are better places to stay for the money. The lane is quiet because it’s a dead end, but inside the hotel it wasn’t: the horrible backpacker bar DMZ blasted music, and it got very loud at night. Avoid the cheapest rooms. Mine had no windows and no internal lock for nighttime. The bathroom also had a strange second space visible above the mirror where a grate had fallen off or been removed. It was a small pink-painted room with a light, and it was terrifying. I also stayed in a room on the main balcony, which was better.

A clean little room, and the AC worked well. The pool was clean too. There was an upstairs balcony in front of my room, a nice place to sit and read. It’s central, down an alley, but away from nighttime noise and karaoke. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I’d definitely stay again. Good budget hotel.

The pool was a great feature, and breakfast was delightful. The hotel has only 6 rooms, so it was really quiet, and the comfort was well priced. It’s in a top spot, 10 minutes from the market. My room was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful with everything from laundry to arranging tours.

The streets behind the hotel close to traffic in the evening, which gives the area a great atmosphere after dark. Service was great, with friendly staff, and the rooms were nice and clean. I wouldn’t bother with a balcony room unless it faces the front of the hotel.

The staff were polite, spoke good English, and were willing to help. Breakfast tasted good, but it was the same every day. There are plenty of other options just outside: within 20m, one lady sets up for Pho soup each day, and you can get Bahn mi right beside her. The hotel sits in the middle of Hue’s busy tourist district, but its inner location on a side street keeps it very quiet. The building is interesting, with an old colonial style and stairs. If sleep quality matters, I’d recommend it and ask for a room on the second floor or above to keep noise down.
