Being set back from the main road means it's peaceful and quiet, which is nice when you're trying to sleep. It's a reasonable choice in Hue. The location isn't exactly central, but if you don't mind walking, you'll be fine.

I stayed in a three-person dorm at the back of the first floor, and the humidity made it really uncomfortable. By morning, clothes left out for a day were damp, and my guidebook cover curled up and the pages went wavy. There weren't any lockers, so I worried about keeping my valuables safe. The shower did have hot water and strong pressure, which was good. I gave it two stars partly because some staff spoke Japanese and there was an information map written in Japanese.
