The location is excellent, just a five-minute walk to the city center and the night walking street, Tà Vẹt. The room is old but functional, and the front desk staff are friendly. The weak point is how thin the walls are. You can hear people outside your room. If you’re not too picky and only need somewhere to sleep after getting drunk, this place is ideal! ;)

The rooms are simple, clean, and well equipped, but the staff stood out most. We had to change our plans at the last minute, and they were warm, friendly, and very accommodating. Some of the nicest people we met in Vietnam!

Our room had a great view across the river to the Imperial City, and a large balcony where I pulled out a chair and watched the world go by. It was shared with the next room, though that room was empty. We stayed three lovely nights. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the lobby and room were full of ornate wood furniture in an amazing Northern Vietnamese style. There’s a lift for the upper floors. Staff were always smiling and very friendly. They arranged transport to the train station and gave us advice when we asked. Across the alley, we really enjoyed The Nook, and there were plenty of other places to eat within walking distance.

Poor staff attitude and service, and dishonest handling of the situation. The service felt unprofessional, and staff blamed customers. They said there were no rooms even though booking apps still showed availability. They handled the problem badly and didn’t refund the correct amount despite the hotel’s mistake. We were made to pay service fees for a service we couldn’t use. Consider booking elsewhere to avoid accommodation trouble and unnecessary costs. Hue has many beautiful hotels with good service, so avoid this one.
