TTC Imperial Hotel

The buffet breakfast was delicious and had a great selection, and the staff were kind throughout our stay. The rooms were beautiful, with stunning views, and the service was top-notch. The location was perfect, and breakfast was delicious every day. Our room was spacious, sparkling clean, and had an awesome river view. The hotel is lovely, and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They also went out of their way to make our wedding anniversary feel special. Duc, the bellboy, helped with our luggage, greeted us each day with a big smile, and remembered our names. He was funny, polite, and friendly, which made us very happy. A very pleasant stay, 10/10, highly recommend.

We found the reception and front of house staff very helpful and professional when we arrived and left. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice and excellent food, though the service on the terrace was uneven. Some guests got more one-to-one help with setting out tables and chairs than others. The hotel is well placed for local sights and restaurants, and far enough from the noisy centre to be comfortable. The rooftop gave us a lovely river view, especially at night. We enjoyed the bar up there, but had to look around for chair cushions, and it wasn’t always clear what we could order. One night, iced coffee wasn’t available after 9pm, even though it had been the night before. We also couldn’t get a pizza from the bar in the middle of the day, despite the advertised 24-hour room service. Our room was comfortable, with plenty of space to unpack and good insulation from street noise. There was a slight musty smell, possibly from the AC, and we could only turn it on or off. The third-floor pool area was fine, though there were only three loungers and no parasols. We had to move the very heavy leather cushions from the beds to the shaded area, where chairs were arranged in rows. It was nice to have a couple of beers by the pool, but we had to buy them at the rooftop bar on the 16th floor and carry them down in the lift.

Bell Captain Van Duc made us feel welcome from the start. He went above and beyond, arranging a table with an extra-special city view on Christmas Eve without us even asking. After a rainy day exploring the Huế Citadel, he also dried our soaked sneakers. His recommendations were excellent, and his kindness and attention to detail made us feel valued. We had a wonderful two-night stay at TTC Imperial Hotel in Huế. The room was spotless, the bed incredibly cozy, and the views from the room, restaurant, and rooftop bar were amazing, especially across the city. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a wide choice of Western and Vietnamese dishes for everyone. The hotel combines comfort, great views, and outstanding service. We’d gladly return if we’re back in Vietnam.
