This was a huge disappointment, and I want to lay out what happened so others know. We booked online at one price, but when we arrived, one of the two owners, especially the older gentleman, shouted that we had to pay extra or we wouldn't get the room we'd booked. He said the online rate was listed incorrectly and made us pay double. We checked online again and the lower price was still there. A local helped us talk it through and agreed the hotel was at fault. The locals were upset too. The whole thing ruined our group's day in an otherwise lovely town with lovely people. Avoid this place.

The beds were comfortable, and they have twin rooms. Hot water for the shower was nice, though it didn't last very long. The walls are thin, so you can hear people walking on the stairs. It's a nice, cheap hotel.

Avoid this hotel. We paid 325 per room as booked, then he gave us one room for 750 and charged another 620 for the second, even though the online Agoda booking showed 378. We showed him the booking, but he said he'd set the price wrong. That sounded like his problem to me. A Vietnamese-speaking guest helped us and agreed he was in the wrong. It's a scummy business. His wife, though, is a sweetheart and very nice.

The owners were friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the location was great. I'd highly recommend it to anyone coming to Khe Sahn.
