I had no trouble in the room: it was compact but had what I needed, with hot water and fast Wi-Fi. The lobby looked nice, though it felt like it wasn't being put to full use. The hotel sits by the river in Lao Cai, a little outside the city center, and has a stylish Western-style exterior. One thing to plan for is cash. It's privately run and doesn't take credit cards, and I had trouble finding a nearby restaurant that did. There's a room tour on YouTube, searchable under hakurepo(Hakurepo) or the hotel's name.

The staff were so friendly and even helped me exchange money and book a bus to Bac Ha. The hotel was very clean, and the price felt reasonable. I had a wonderful time spending New Year's Eve here. It's a really great place.

The hotel has made a good impression so far, with extra cleaning and a quality feel. I’ve only just arrived, so it’s too early for a full review, and check-in time hasn’t come yet. They did offer early check-in for an extra $200000 dong.

I came and looked around, but didn't stay. The design is nice and the rooms seem well appointed, yet I started wondering about cleanliness as soon as I got in the lift. In one room, the sheets didn't look changed; when I pulled them back, I found two or three different kinds of hair between them, so I left. It's a new hotel with good potential, but the hygiene needs attention.

The place is very clean, with nice design and a great location. The staff were friendly, and the doorman went out of his way to help us with our luggage. We'll make this our usual place whenever we come to Lao Cai.
