The neighborhood has lots of good local restaurants but still feels like a quiet village. The hotel is right by Long hai beach, and the rooms are beautifully furnished with high quality pieces. Some have lovely sea views. The pool area looks nice, though it's quite small. On weekdays you may have it to yourself, while weekends can get busy with families and children. Highly recommended if you're after a relaxing beach escape.

The breakfast buffet is a real strength: mostly Vietnamese food, plus a few Western choices like Eggs Benedict and French Toast, all done well. The food is fresh and tasty, and there's a good choice. You can sit by the pool, indoors, or in the pleasant outdoor area at the front. The ambience, music, and seating are all very comfortable. The property is new, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Some team members already deliver five-star hospitality with real enthusiasm, while others still need training. Hằng, the front office manager, is among the most genuinely dedicated senior staff I've met. She can put things right when a problem gets past her. She belongs at the Capella Hanoi, and this new hotel and its guests are lucky to have her on site. A few things could be improved. The lovely pool closes at 7 PM, which feels wrong for a beach hotel without direct beach access. Guests should be able to use it until at least 9. Room-to-room soundproofing is very good, but chairs scraping on the floor next door carry through. Glide pads on movable furniture would help. At a four- or five-star hotel, staff shouldn't answer a request with a flat no or say they can't accommodate a guest. They should check, then explain what they can offer instead and ask if that works. Some of the younger team haven't learned that gentle way of declining yet. The cocktail list also needs work. There are no Martinis, Old Fashioneds, or Whiskey Sours, just fruity drinks. If you picture yourself relaxing by the pool after dinner with a Martini like James Bond, that option isn't there. You may never order one, but not having the choice takes away from the experience. This should have been a five-star review, but one avoidable interaction on my first day let the hotel down. High-end service depends on every staff member. Hằng was off that day and couldn't resolve it until the next morning, when she handled it brilliantly. It's a very nice hotel and good value, and I had a pleasant stay. Is it yet a true four-star experience? Almost. A little more investment and training would help, which is understandable for a new hotel.

Long Hải has a great balance: it's less busy than Vũng Tàu without feeling too quiet. There are tasty restaurants, charming coffee shops, and plenty of places to see. The beach is beautiful and has a calm feel, with water that's safe, not too deep, and good for swimming. Nearby fresh seafood was affordable, and it brought back memories of Vũng Tàu twenty years ago. Our family's first stay at Hotel Iconic Long Hải went far beyond what I expected. We booked at the last minute after a cancellation at Landmark 81, and thankfully they had room for our big family. The hotel feels five-star, with spacious rooms across the categories, luxurious facilities, and elegant, professionally done design. Staff were welcoming and attentive. The pool is a little small, but my kids loved it and spent most of their time there. We happened to be there on New Year's Eve and had a memorable family celebration with live music, talented singers, and delicious food. The trip was full of fun and relaxation, and Long Hải and Hotel Iconic made it special.

The staff were professional and courteous, and the service was excellent throughout. I appreciated the small complimentary birthday cake waiting for me when I checked in on my birthday. It was a simple gesture, but a thoughtful one. My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The food and drinks were good quality and prepared well. The location is walkable, with nearby attractions, places to eat, and essential services close at hand. I'd gladly return to ICONIC Hotel and recommend it.

We spent 16 nights here over the Christmas break and had a brilliant stay. The hotel opened about a year ago, and the staff were consistently pleasant, approachable, friendly, and helpful. They kept asking if there was anything they could do to make things better. We're an older couple with some accessibility issues, and they made us comfortable throughout. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a super-comfortable bed. The pool area is small, with limited sunbeds, but it never really got crowded during our stay. Most visits seem to be just for a few days or a weekend. Breakfast is either à la carte or buffet depending on how many people are staying. It's Vietnamese style with a few Western options, good quality, and reasonably priced for a hotel. Reception can arrange taxis for trips farther afield. If we're in the region again, we'd happily stay here. Thanks to all the staff.
