The staff were awful. Easily the worst hotel on the island.

The owner was welcoming and really enthusiastic, and the room cost surprisingly little. I had booked a sea-view room with a balcony in the shared hallway. It was still a relaxing setup, especially at sunset, when the view of the island was amazing. The room was better equipped than I expected. 10/10, and I hope I can stay at Hoang Thong again on my next trip to Ly Son. ❤️

The owner helped with tickets and gave us guidance, and they also offer rides to and from the port. I loved the swing out front and still think about it. There’s a really relaxing outdoor balcony and porch, and the price is super cheap. Even over a holiday, it stayed at the usual rate. I highly recommend staying here!
