Ms Loan and her husband were happy to help whenever I needed anything, even though the room itself only had basic facilities. Ms Loan, who owns the homestay and lives there, picked me up when I arrived in Ly Son. The accommodation also offers pickup and dropoff. She kindly invited me to a vegetarian lunch, and her neighbors were extremely friendly. There’s a beautiful little garden. Several main sights and food stalls are within walking distance too. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to experience a local Vietnamese home and neighborhood.

The room was simple but comfortable and had AC. I stayed there for 5 days, and Loan Anh even packed us delicious locally sourced peanuts for the beach. She also rents motorbikes at an unbeatable price. Loan Anh's place is what Vietnamese hospitality feels like. She welcomed us so warmly, shared local food, and invited us over for tea and drinks several times.

We paid a lot and definitely got the tourist price. The place wasn't clean enough, there was no hot water, and the tiny towels smelled bad. I suspect the reviews are written by relatives. Vietnam has so many good, inexpensive hotels and homestays that I see no reason to stay here. This was the worst place we stayed in during our time in Vietnam.

The route to the homestay was really bad, and I couldn't find any service in my room. This homestay was very poor. I prefer Bình Yen Hotel.
