The rates are above the area average, and I didn’t think the stay was worth the price. The property is old and poorly maintained, with a cockroach in the room, and there was no English spoken or hospitality. They also refused to issue a VAT invoice (Họ từ chối xuất hóa đơn đỏ). There are plenty of other places to stay around here, and I’d strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

For 400.000vnd per night (15.8$) at a 2-star hotel, plus 50.000vnd (2.1$) for two bottles of water, the price felt far too high compared with the quality and other hotels. The room wasn’t clean, with hair on the pillows, and the wifi was terrible compared with Vietnam’s usual standard.

We left a charger behind, and the owner didn’t tell us. When we called later, they confirmed it had been found during cleaning. But when we went to collect it, they were using our charger.

There’s a convenience store just to the left as you leave the hotel. The room was big, the towels were clean, and the shower had hot water. English is limited here. Motorcycle rental in Moc Chou cost about twice as much as in Bac Ha.

No breakfast, no lift, no trash bin, weak clean water, and the decoration is peeling off the wall. Seems suitable only for backpackers.
