Aqua Hotel & Spa

The staff were rude and no help at all. I spent an hour trying to fix my booking after they put me in a windowless “prison” room I hadn’t booked. The place calls itself a spa hotel, but it’s rooms upstairs and a massage shop downstairs. The lift area and rooms were filthy, the corridors stank, and despite claiming to be newly built, the rooms were covered in mould. Damn.

The location is great, but I wouldn't say this is the best place to stay. The room needs more attention: the drain was clogged, the hair dryer and fridge were broken, and ants were everywhere. Sorry.

The bathroom was filthy, with wet floors, a marked-up mirror, a dirty sink and tap, and no toilet paper. Cleanliness clearly wasn’t a priority. We also waited 10-15 minutes before the massage started, in a grimy waiting area with food and unfinished drinks on the tables. Then a small bug crawled on my arm. I should have left then. The masseuses talked to each other throughout the session, which felt completely unprofessional. I had asked for my head, shoulders, neck, and back to be massaged, but they only worked on my back, and my headache got worse. They also hit my kidneys instead of working on my back, which was painful and dangerous. Communication was terrible, and the service felt careless and incompetent. Unhygienic and unacceptable. I would never recommend this place.

There was renovation work behind the wall, and the noise was really loud. The hotel was awful and incredibly dirty, with grime on the walls, dirty linens, and hair all over the floor.
