Aroma Nha Trang Boutique Hotel

The location and service were both great, and they cleaned the room every day. The heater, though, barely worked most of the time, lol.

The view from the desk by the window was my favorite part. You can see the whole street, and it looks amazing during the day. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, and the beach is close too. The reception staff were pretty friendly, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!

Our double room came with a soiled mattress on the floor as the second bed. The floors were dirty, and the emergency exit in the bedroom led to a tiny, unsafe fire escape. Its door wouldn't shut properly, leaving our room open to unrestricted access from Nha Trang. The room door locks also didn't work and kept alarming all night. There was nothing useful in the room: no fridge, no working kettle, no coffee or tea, no water, no soap, no shampoo, and no amenities at all. Another booking apparently had a fridge. Staff were unbelievably unpleasant. Don't stay here, even on a budget.

This place apparently also operates as “ocean view hotel,” which was the name we booked on booking.com. Our reservation had been confirmed a week earlier, but they cancelled it just 30 minutes before check-in on the day, saying our room had suddenly become unavailable.
