Boutik Cham Hotel

A quiet spot with very nice staff. It's a GREAT little BOUTIQUE Hotel, with about 30 nicely appointed rooms.

Dinner was delicious, and breakfast offered a choice of six different types. My room had a bathtub, smelled fresh, and was clean and pleasant. The receptionist was especially friendly, open, polite, and hospitable. He got me whatever I asked for, and I was grateful and really impressed by his attitude.

The rooms are dated, breakfast was average, and the coffee was unbearable. There was no dependable hot water. I paid more for a room with a bathtub, but couldn't fill it with warm water. One evening, hot water finally came after I called 10 times, went to reception, and asked for a refund. By the next day it had disappeared again. It seems the hotel may be saving on guests, and showering in water that cold is unpleasant. Staff were very rude and lied to my face repeatedly. In seven years of travel, I've never encountered worse. I was also filmed by staff without permission while wearing sleepwear. Don't be fooled by all the positive reviews. I wish I'd paid attention to the one-star review.

The rooms are clean and have balconies, and there's parking. They'll bring your bike in and out of the basement to keep it secure at night. It's a little out of the way, which makes it nice and quiet, and the pool and lounge area are great. Breakfast is nice, though vegetarians have limited choices. They'll make eggs or pho if you ask.
