That massage was the worst I’ve had. It felt careless and rough on the skin, and it was neither relaxing nor refreshing. Although it was called a full-body massage, they focused almost entirely on our legs. We were rushed into it after completing less than half of the mud bath course. We had booked a mud spa and massage package for 10:00 a.m. for our group of 11. After the initial instructions, we started the mud bath, but just 20 minutes later a staff member told us we had to finish by 11:00. We had only made it through about two of the course’s six steps. The staff member was forceful, which made us very uncomfortable. With a group our size, we thought a little extra time would have been reasonable. When we asked why the massage was scheduled for 11:00, all we got was, “I’ll give you five more minutes. Please wash and get ready by then.” That felt completely unreasonable. We’ve travelled to many countries, and this was the first time we’d had such an unfair and unpleasant experience. Even if we return to Nha Trang someday, we won’t come back here.

After a 16 hour layover and a delayed flight, we were told we’d have to pay extra for the same room we had already booked and paid for in full on trip.com. There was no manager around, and nobody offered any help. It made the start of our stay awful. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The package at Galina Spa came with a mud bath, jacuzzi, steam room, and foot soak, and by the end of the massage I felt like a new person. It was so relaxing, easily the best massage I’ve had. I don’t know the name of the woman who did it, but she was really good. Highly recommend!

There was construction during our stay, and the noise was sometimes really loud early in the morning. Aside from that, we had a wonderful experience. I’d been nervous because of the negative reviews, but all the staff were friendly and ready to help, and I felt welcome from check-in. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a beautiful sea view. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the shower had strong pressure, and they brought clean towels, water, tea, and coffee each day. Breakfast was amazing, with different choices every day so it didn’t get boring. Guests also get a spa discount, and I’d recommend it for a relaxing afternoon. I’d happily recommend the hotel and am sure I’ll come back to Nha Trang next time. Thanks so much for everything, the staff were amazing!
