Golden Sand Hotel

We had a deluxe room on the 9th floor. It was clean and large, and the windows kept it quiet. The staff were nice, and breakfast was good, starting at 6:30, which worked well for a 7 am dive trip with shops around the corner. My advice is to skip diving in nha Trang. There isn't much to see, fish are rare, and the trip feels rushed, especially if you're a refresher. Save the money and fly to Thailand for diving.

The staff were kind and really helpful, and we enjoyed the tasty breakfast. There wasn't a huge choice, but it was enough. The beach is about a five-minute walk away. Watch out for the traffic, as anywhere in vietnam. We'd book again.

The hotel is modern, with rooms that work well, a nice breakfast, and staff who couldn't do enough for us. Rooms aren't huge, and you're only a block from the beach. Still, Nga Trang has become a concrete jungle full of tourists, and the hotel sits right in the middle of it. I'd stay in Nga Trang for no more than two nights now, to see the ancient Cham city at the north end over the river and spend a day swimming at the beach. Even then, only if it made a convenient stop on the way somewhere else.

The location and service were good, and the receptionist could understand and speak English. The rooms are small, breakfast doesn't offer great choices, and there was no soap or shampoo, so bring your own.
