Grand Tourane Nha Trang Hotel

The view from the window was what impressed me most, and the beach was only an 8-12 minute walk away. After a swim, you can rinse your feet at the taps outside. The room felt safe and was very clean, with a huge TV for YouTube, the weather, and switching languages. Food was tasty and hygienic, and the staff offered water and candy while I checked in. I could also use the pool, rooftop terrace, gym, and bar. Everyone was lovely and friendly. I hope I get to come back.

The staff were really nice, and we enjoyed the stay in our spacious, comfortable room. We booked at a special end-of-year rate. There were a few coffee spots on the blanket, though it was still clean. One thing bothered us: at happy hour, two cocktails were offered for the price of one, but the menu prices were higher than usual, so it didn't feel like a real discount. The spa's 50% offer still left massages very expensive compared with other places in town. Thai and Vietnamese massages are stronger than a relaxing massage, so ask for lighter pressure if you're not ready for an energetic session. Mine was painful even after I said it was too strong.

After leaving Vietnam for a few decades, this was our first trip back. Nha Trang was our first stop, and we spent a few days at this hotel. The staff and service impressed us completely, as did the food. The hotel was clean, and the team were professional, kind, and polite. Thanks to Grand Tourane hotel for a wonderful vacation. The rooms were comfortable, the hotel was clean, and the staff were nice. What bothered us was the way discounts seemed to be presented. At the spa, hotel guests get 50% off, but massages cost around 900k-1'000k vnd, while other places charge 400-500k. With the offer, you're paying about the same, or even a little more, than at another spa. They also add a 3% service fee afterward, though it could have been included in the price upfront, as other places do. Happy hour was similar: cocktails on the regular menu were around 100k, but the happy-hour menu listed the same drinks at 180k, with buy one, get one free. I don't like practices that feel dishonest, which is why I gave three stars. Otherwise, it would've been five.
