Hao Phat Hotel

The road is very close, so it gets noisy after 7 am. At night it was relatively okay, and earplugs worked for me. The area is quieter and has far fewer tourists, though it’s best if you have a bike. I stayed in an apartment with a kitchen, two beds, two windows, a balcony, and lots of light. There was a kitchen table and proper chairs for working. It had all the utensils I needed. At first the cleaning was poor, but after I told the manager, it improved. Staff helped with my questions, though none of them spoke English. After each cleaning they left four towels and four bottles of water, which was really convenient.

The staff were always ready to help and gave me useful advice. I had a private room with air conditioning, a large bed, and good bathroom fixtures that all worked. The location was convenient, close to the beach, and I got what I needed for a reasonable price. I’d recommend it.

Some rooms have kitchens, which makes cooking convenient. It’s a little away from the city center, but the sea is about a 15-20 minute walk away and great for swimming.

It felt like sleeping in a stuffy, closed-off box. The old air conditioner barely did the job, and there wasn’t even a fan. On a business trip I just wanted somewhere comfortable to sleep, but the air conditioning was awful and people chatting in the hallway were really noisy. The wardrobe was very basic and looked pretty unattractive too.
