Good.

I've stayed here many times since it's the hotel of my former family-in-law. It's a basic Vietnamese family hotel, so don't expect luxury. Most guests seem to be locals or Vietnamese tourists from other cities. The staff don't speak English, and most rooms have air conditioning.
It's an affordable, clean hotel.
The area is pretty quiet, about 1,000m from the central New Market and 1,500m from the beach. The hotel has had a recent renovation, so it feels cleaner and roomier than it used to, and the rates are reasonable. There's also a room where they sell agarwood, which was an interesting touch.
There are plenty of affordable places to eat nearby, including Cát Biển, which looks quite upscale but charges the usual Nha Trang prices without overcharging. The bathroom was passable, with strong water pressure and hot water, and at around 200k-500k the price is okay if you're only staying overnight. Beyond that, the room was old and shabby, and housekeeping didn't come daily. I reminded them several times, but nothing changed, and towels weren't replaced either. There was one blanket for three of us. When I asked for another, an older woman with a rather unpleasant manner gave us just one, saying the room only had two beds. I don't know if she was the owner or a staff member. For a stay longer than about three days, I'd look elsewhere. One star, because I can't think of a lower rating for how bad this was.
