The apartments are very nice, though small, and the landlord seemed honest and kept the place clean. The woman who showed us around was very pleasant, and the elevator worked well for getting to the higher floors. The gate may be locked when you arrive, so it can take a bit of effort to get someone’s attention. There wasn’t much English spoken, but I’d still recommend it to foreign travelers looking for a good place to stay. It’s tucked away in a back alley rather than on the Main Street, and I wasn’t sure I’d feel comfortable walking there at night. From the upper floors I also couldn’t get a good ocean view. There’s a great view of a temple next door, or maybe it was actually a church, I can’t remember. The price quoted on Facebook and elsewhere sometimes varies. The ad we answered said 4.5 million a month. As the economy improves, I’m sure that price will rise. I’d give it 3 1/2 stars.

Good value for what you pay for this homestay.

There’s no reception desk, but someone is always helpful when you call. The rooms are clean, fully equipped, and good quality for a reasonable price. It’s also conveniently near restaurants and the beach. Highly recommend.

The landlord was friendly and very helpful, and getting into the city center was easy. The apartment is close to the market, beach, supermarket, and convenience stores. It also has an elevator, which makes reaching the upper floors convenient. I’d definitely come back if I get the chance to travel again this summer.
