Friendly owner and fair price. The room was big and basic, with a fridge, kettle, air-con and safe. Wi-fi worked well, and the bathroom had nice soap and shampoo, though curtains could help since it faced other hotels. There's a pleasant jungle courtyard, but no lift. The location is quiet.

About $100 disappeared from my locked room while I was out for 2.5 hours. It was in a toiletries bag, and with no other guests around, cleaning staff were the most likely people to have taken it. When I spoke to the manager/owner, they showed no apology or willingness to take responsibility, and even asked me for the $12 I owed for one night. I was shocked by that response. This sounds like an ongoing problem, yet there are no security boxes in the rooms. The theft and the way it was handled left me with a bitter feeling about Vietnam. Nothing like this has happened to me elsewhere in southeast Asia. I'd tell people to avoid this place. One of the five-star reviews below also seems fake.

The location is decent, close to the beach, but parking a motorbike is difficult and getting into the hotel feels cramped. Inside, the facilities are old, the air-con is noisy, and the Wi-fi is so weak I couldn't load a video properly. The photos here aren't real. I'd rather spend more on a better room somewhere else.

We arrived expecting to stay here, but were moved across the road to Cuong Long Hotel because of an unexplained “problem” with our room. Nobody gave us a clear reason. Despite our specific booking, the room at Cuong Long was small and uncomfortable, had no window, and the shower was broken. The poor communication means I can't recommend this place.
