Nice Swan Hotel

I didn’t sleep at the hotel, so I can’t comment on that. We did book a three-island trip there, with two snorkeling stops, and it was the worst trip I’ve ever had. At the first island we spent 2 hours and 30 minutes on a small, noisy, dirty beach packed with around 1,000 people, with nothing to do. Lunch was at a floating village. The food was bad and nobody ate it; even the person next to me vomited at the table. For the last “snorkeling” stop, they dropped us at a small floating village. We only got a little area, about 3m/4m, for three hours. Such a bad experience. Please don’t take this trip if you see this review. They may offer a better one, but this wasn’t it. Thanks to the guide, who did try to make us happy.

It’s a nice, clean place, and they kept it clean. We were only five minutes from the beach, and there’s a small pool. Our room had one of those combined toilet and shower setups, which I hate. At least it was mold-free, unlike most toilet showers I’ve seen, and it dried quickly after use. There’s construction all around Nha Trang, as there is around every hotel here, so it was a bit noisy.

They let us check in early when we arrived in Nha Trang at 7am, which was a nice gesture. The beach is only a three-minute walk away, the beds are comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was fast enough to save my data. The rooms felt a little small, though. There was no free breakfast, even though I expected it for the price. Fortunately, there were several street food vendors nearby, so we found something to eat. Staff were a mixed bag: not everyone spoke English, so we had to use gestures and Google Translate quite a bit. The hotel was okay, but somehow didn’t leave much of an impression.

The staff were attentive and nice. Nice Swan hotel is centrally placed in Nha Trang, nearly opposite a night market and just a short walk from the beach. The rooms are a comfortable size, though storage is limited, with only a few outlets and a small closet. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash aren’t provided. There’s inexpensive laundry service, and you can buy water from the minibar, but there aren’t other drinks. Most rooms look out at other buildings.
