Palm Beach 2 Hotel

Not clean at all, and very dated. The room was never cleaned. There were empty shampoo sachets in the shower, stains on the sheets, and the sink leaked constantly, leaving the floor wet enough that I had to put shoes on to use the toilet. I eventually had to ask for clean towels and toilet tissue. The pool was so filthy it couldn’t be used, and they emptied it on our third day, presumably after someone complained. The chairs in the room were awful, I’ve thrown better ones out.

It’s close to the beach and in a good location, and the price is low, so I didn’t expect much. Still, the hotel looked nothing like the online pictures. The rooms were extremely basic, and the whole place was worn and dated. We had electrical problems, and one night there were no lights or AC at all. Loud talking woke us every morning, whether from other guests or not, the sound carried straight into our room. The windows rattled and kept us awake too. The Wi-Fi was awful. You get what you pay for, but the stay was unpleasant and underwhelming, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

I booked through booking.com, but the room didn’t match the pictures. It was filthy and old and badly needed a refresh, with blood on the bedsheets. When I asked for a refund, the hotel staff were hostile and unwilling to negotiate. Avoid this place.

I’ve never stayed in a filthier hotel. Blood covered the sheets, the shower was dirty, and the staff were awful. When we showed them the problems, they denied everything and yelled at us instead of trying to sort it out. Their response when we asked for a refund made the place feel like a scam. I hope people see this before booking.
